Crawfish for a Cause is an annual crawfish cook-off held at Buc Days benefitting this years benefactor. Attendees will be able to enjoy all-you-can-eat crawfish, live music, activities, and more. Our cook-off teams will be making over 15,000 pounds of crawfish for our attendees and competing for $7,500 in prizes!
On May 3, 2025, Crawfish for a Cause will bring together thousands of attendees at Buc Days in Corpus Christi for a day of delicious crawfish, live entertainment, and community fun—all while raising vital funds to support the Wesley Community Center and the Junior League of Corpus Christi (JLCC).

Who We Support
Each year, Crawfish for a Cause selects new beneficiaries through a detailed application process. Our mission is to support local non-profits that demonstrate the greatest need and align with our values of community, compassion, and impact. This ensures that your sponsorship dollars make a meaningful difference in areas that matter most.
For 2025, we are thrilled to support:
- Wesley Community Center: Empowering families in need through essential services, including food pantries (serving over 100,000 individuals annually), childcare for low-income families, and emergency financial assistance.
- Junior League of Corpus Christi (JLCC): Developing women’s leadership while supporting initiatives such as the ROCKETS STEM program, Touch-A-Truck, and the Spring Break Backpack Project, all of which create lasting community impact.
