BTS Live-Debut 'Black Swan' With Mystical 'Late Late Show' Performance

BTS debuted their new song “Black Swan” live on television for the first time.

The South Korean septet appeared on last night’s (January 28) episode of The Late Late Show, where they commanded the crowd with a vivid and high-energy performance of their new single. Enhancing the stage with video projections of waterfalls while dancing barefoot on an icy lake before a foggy forest backdrop, the boy band captivated viewers with their smooth moves as audience members could be heard cheering them on from the stands.

BTS’ latest television set comes just days after the bandmates teamed up with Lil Nas X for a special rendition of the rapper’s number-one hit “Old Town Road” at the 2020 Grammys, and following their exclusive event in Los Angeles, iHeartRadio LIVE with BTS presented by HOT TOPIC, during which the spoke about their highly-anticipated new album, Map of the Soul: 7.

“Black Swan” is the first single to release from the group’s Map of the Soul: Persona follow-up, slated to arrive on February 21. As previously reported, the band will embark on their “Map of the Soul” tour to support their new album starting in April with performances at their hometown venue, Seoul’s Olympic Stadium. From there, the group will travel to the United States for shows in California, Texas, Florida, Georgia, New Jersey, and elsewhere as future concert shows are to be announced.

Tickets for BTS' world tour go on sale to the general public beginning at 3 p.m. local time on February 7. For more details, click here.
