Cinco de Mayo this year will commemorate a different battle than the one involving Mexico and France. This year, it's a special day to help those in need, by supporting the Coastal Bend Food Bank.
The food bank has seen first hand the devastating effects of the COVID-19 pandemic. Since March 16th, they have conducted nearly 100 emergency food distributions, to 60,000 people. This has placed a greater demand for services from the Coastal Bend Food Bank.
Our 6 Corpus Christi iHeartMedia Radio stations have joined forces and want you to join us for "Cinco on Cinco."
On Tuesday, May 5th, donate anything you can. As little as $5 goes a long way. For every dollar donated, the food bank feeds one person for one day. Every $5 provides 15 meals!
