Hard to believe no lost singles have been released since Whitney Houston died 7 years ago. Now one has finally emerged, and it's a great one.
Thankfully it's from Whitney in her prime circa 1990. Recorded during the sessions that gave us the album I'm Your Baby Tonight, Ms. Houston is still in full-voice, and covering the Steve Winwood classic "Higher Love." Even though it never came out in America, Whitney had been known to perform the song during concerts, and a live version was released as a track on the I'm Your Baby Tonight CD in Japan.
Now, the tune has been released with an updated remix by producer Kygo.
Word is the Houston estate is planning to release more new music, and has sanctioned a new hologram tour, but until that happens, here's something GREAT for us to enjoy.
