These days a lot of people identify themselves as foodies, and there's no doubt where you live may play a big role in the foodie experience, and there are some cities are more conducive to the foodie culture than others.

WalletHub looked at 180 cities in the U.S. to determine which are the best for foodies, judging locations on 30 key factors including accessibility of high quality restaurants, food festivals per capita and even the cost of groceries.

Topping the list again this year is Portland, Oregon, ranking in the Top Five for Diversity, Accessibility and Quality, although it does come in 13th for Affordability, so it isn’t cheap to be a foodie.

  1. Portland, OR
  2. New York, NY
  3. Miami, FL
  4. San Francisco, CA
  5. Los Angeles, CA
  6. Las Vegas, NV
